THE COMPANY

In November, 2008, the actors Luka Soriano, Jimena Cavalletti and Juantxo Berasategui, created the company Compañía aérea teatro and they started working in their first creation: Usted está aquí (You are here)

For six- eight years, they have been working together in the PayaSOSpital association, sharing the same theatrical philosophy and methodology while making the creative process lively and effective.

They performed for the first time on February 10th, in the Ay Juna Canejo festival, teatro Liberarte (Avda. Corrientes 1555) in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

During their tour around Argentina they acted in the El Bolsón international clown festival and in several theatres in Rio Negro, Mendoza and Buenos Aires.

When they returned to Spain, they wereawarded with the first prize for best indoor show in the encuentro entrepayasos (meeting among clowns) in Zaragoza

CURRICULUM

Members of the theater company Compañía aérea teatro, are part of the PayaSOSpital´s ( www.payasospital.org) artistic team, sited in Valencia, Spain, where they have been working- since 2001- as professional clowns within the pediatrics department of all Valencian hospitals.

They were trained by teachers who follow Jacques Lecoq´s pedagogy - Ami Hattab, Sergio Claramunt, Nicola Bernard, Luisa Gallard Sánchez and Veronic Jollie.

They enriched their training with other teachers such as- Jesús Jara, Jango Edwards, Erick de Bont and Marina Barberá among others.

They use improvisation techniques, and play masks, body percussion, jester, choreographic improvisation and dance theatre.

Music it´s an essential part of their creations.
